I wanted to start out by asking, what inspired you to write poetry? What made you want to see the real power of words? For me, it started in 6th grade. I wrote a poem for the Young Authors competition and I made it all the way through the local division however, I lost at the state division. Since then, I have published a book of poetry and working on another. So…what’s your story?
