My mare and I are both terribly out of shape so I'm looking for others who are in the same boat that want to start out with some shorter not too strenuous rides, young horses, older horses, etc... I'm in Shelton but willing to travel. My mare is a QH not terribly fast, average walk. I also have a TWH smaller gelding who is not a speed demon but walks faster than my QH. Now is the time to check your trailers for wasp nests and continue to do so the rest of the season. I got rid of 4 nests and the next day they had begun again. UGH! I'm thinking it's going to be a BAD year for them. Safety 1st. Happy Trails. 🤠
