FIVESCORE IMPROV: Song Of The Overdrive Timbre (Original Piece)
My ability to Sing in general, but ESPECIALLY my ability to harmonize has a MAJOR influence on my playing, as I literally taught myself piano they singing. UNO Reverse card if you ask me. This is another piece from my Fivescore Improv series. I improvise my pieces as tho I'm arranging for voices in a chorus/choir/Quartet/Quintet. Each timbre has a voice with a specific workflow, some timbres are more pedal-dependent (as is this one: 032 OVERDRIVE GTR, because the timbre itself is very staccato by default without sust. pedal), other's not so much. The sust pedal then becomes an essential tool to the Timbre selected, not a crutch to me, So the challenge become learning for to play with it for this Timbre. That said, I hope you enjoy this little piece. Feedback welcomed as always.

🌱 SUNDAY CHECK-IN: How's your inner critic getting on? 😂
We've spent this week noticing some of the ways perfectionism can creep into our music-making. So, I'm curious... **Have you noticed yourself doing anything differently this week?** Perhaps you've allowed yourself to make mistakes, stopped restarting quite so often, been kinder to yourself or simply become more aware of those unhelpful thoughts. No pressure to have transformed overnight! Every time you NOTICE your perfectionism, you're giving yourself an opportunity to choose a different response. 💜 Remember our little mantra: NOTICE IT. NAME IT. CHOOSE AGAIN. 🎉 Let's see how we're getting on! 🎶
