New tool!
Hi everyone, I'm looking for a few people to test my new tool. Some feedback I've been getting lately is - it's one thing to budget for your holiday, but what if I haven't really looked into my outgoings before? This tool I've created is a simple way to get a quick overview of your current expenses - so then you can work out what you want to keep, pause or change while you travel. Follow the steps and it will create a PDF to print so you can go through it in your own time to get a good understanding of your finances before you try to start budgeting. If you would like to check out this tool - please click here: https://margieandtim.com.au/know-your-number.html And, in the comments below, could you let me know what you think, any bugs, any features you would like to see added, etc? Enjoy :)

Looking at the Preplanning stage?
If you're in the preplanning stage for an extended holiday/lifestyle change, I've just put together a quick video on YT which covers the 'boring' essential stuff that needs to be done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfbprMKvbnI&pp=0gcJCT4LAYcqIYzv I'll cover: • Why you should start life admin at least six months out — and what to do if you haven't Medical and specialist appointments, scripts, telehealth, and mental health plans before you go • Driver's licence, Medicare, and passport — the obvious ones people still forget • Your three main options for the house: rent it, sell it, or lock it up and leave • Why selling your house isn't always the straightforward answer it seems And a quick reminder, if you're thinking of joining the course The Big Lap Starter Course, this week you'll also get the When Do We Go? Leave Date Decision Workbook — a step-by-step workbook to sit down with your partner and actually land on a date. Find out more: https://margieandtim.thrivecart.com/big-lap-starter-course/ Happy planning everyone :)
