Understanding Procrastination
When we hear the word procrastination, we often immediately think negatively.
We think:
-I'm putting things off
-I'm falling behind
-I'm not doing enough
-I'm being unproductive
But what if procrastination isn't always negative? Sometimes procrastination is simply a pause - a signal that we need to stop and gain clarity before moving forward. But sometimes when we stop... we move on to other things and never come back to what we weren't doing.
It may be telling us:
-You need a clearer plan
-You're overwhelmed and need to break it down
-You're unsure where to start
-Reevaluate what you're saying yes too
This week is about understanding what your procrastination is telling you and creating a plan to move forward.
ASSIGNMENT:
  1. Write 3 things you've been putting off
  2. Identify why you've been avoiding them
  3. Choose ONE thing to focus on this week
  4. What one small step can you take to get it done?
Give yourself permission to Pause, Reflect and Plan. Don't think of it as procrastinating, you're preparing to move forward with purpose.
Once you've worked through this, answer #3 in the comments.
