👋 Welcome to the Community!
Hey everyone, and welcome to the community! We’re really glad you’re here. This community is built to support you and your dog throughout their lifetime, from injury prevention, to managing your pet post surgery. We have released our first program, "Canine Foundations Strength & Mobility". This is made for all dogs to improve both strength and movement. ACCESS THIS VIA THE CLASSROOM TAB. In the meantime join our community to ask questions and learn about what you can do best for your dog. 🐶 What you can expect here Inside this community you’ll be able to: - Ask questions at any stage of the course or in general about your dog - Share progress with your dog (wins and struggles) - Get feedback and support when you’re unsure - Learn from other members going through the same journey There are no “silly questions” here—if you’re thinking it, someone else probably is too. 📚 How to get the most out of this course A few tips to help you succeed in the course (when it comes out): - Go at your own pace—don’t rush it - Practice consistently, even in short sessions - Post videos or updates if you want feedback - Don’t aim for perfection—aim for progress 🐕 A quick note on training Every dog learns differently, and every handler develops at their own pace. If something isn’t working right away, that’s completely normal. We’re here to help you adjust, refine, and keep moving forward. 💬 Introduce yourself! Drop a quick intro below: - Your name - Your dog’s name and breed - What you’re hoping to achieve from the course We’d love to meet you all. Let’s get started 💪🐾

🐾 Let's talk about the "lazy sit"
We talked about the "sit to stand" exercise which is great for strengthening, but lets talk about the "lazy sit. From a physio perspective this functional test is one I do on every dog - if you're dog can't sit properly, then there is either a mobility or pain issue. The black lab has a lazy sit because she really is lazy (or smart as she conserves energy). But when asked she can maintain a correct sit posture. Why a dog might sit crookedly: - Reduced core and hindlimb strength. Holding a square sit takes more work than you'd think. - Reduced mobility in the hips, stifles or hocks. - Discomfort/pain in the back or limbs. Dogs are brilliant at shifting weight away from something that's sore. - Habit or age. Young puppies often sit loosely while their bodies are still developing. Try this at home this week 1. Ask your dog to sit on a non-slip surface and take a photo from behind. 2. Note whether they sit square or kick a leg out, and which side. 3. Can they maintain it for 30s and do it 3x. If so they've passed the test! Does your dog have a tendency to sit lazy or can they sit correctly? Let me know below!

Our first course - Foundations Strength & Mobility! ACCESS THROUGH CLASSROOM TAB
I'm so excited to have released our first course - it is only up at $37 USD!! This is a bargain for the knowledge you get in there! WHY DOES YOUR DOG NEED IT? Your dog isn't too young, too old, or too "just a pet" to need this. Every dog needs a strong, mobile body, but almost none of them ever train for it. Until the day something tweaks. The 8-Week Canine Foundations: Strength & Mobility Course fixes that. Built by a qualified veterinary physiotherapist. No guesswork, no random internet tricks - just simple, follow-along exercises that take minutes a day. In 8 weeks you'll: - Build real strength that protects joints for life - Boost balance, flexibility and body awareness - Catch weakness before it becomes injury Perfect for active dogs, ageing dogs, and every owner who wants more good years. Physios don't wait for the injury. Neither should you. 👉 Join today - your dog's future self will thank you. Click on CLASSROOM and access there!
