Hand drill and stone tools
Carving a fire board notch with stone tools (and getting a subsequent coal) has felt like a lofty goal for a long time. But I tried it today and it worked out! This video is proof that it is relatively simple. The key is to have soft enough wood to easily carve/saw/abrade with stones 🤙🏽
