Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🦃🦃
Good evening, everyone, I hope you are all well. Sitting around being bummed the Lions lost, but enjoying my time with amazing family and awesome food!
I'm sitting back trying not to fall into a food coma and am reflecting on all I have to be grateful for this year. I got a new meniscus that healed very well and quick. I got sober thanks tona great recovery center and AA. Mostly though is all the great people I have met in these communities that have embraced and encouraged all the new people including myself!
One big group of like minded people. Just like in the AA Big Book, my favorite sentence in all the book is, "We are people who normally would not mix". That also describes most of us in these communities. We are truly people that would not mix (meaning without this platform we wouldn't know each other), we come from all over the world, different back grounds, different races, religions, ages, places in our fitness journeys, even different goals. But here we are, like minded people that just want to be the healthiest versions of ourselves.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone, we are all now, one big peptide family!! 🫶🖤🦃💪
