The bigger purpose is to bring our community together to purchase enough of ONE peptide or blend that we can send in a sample vial for independent U.S. laboratory testing while keeping our prices as affordable as possible. Testing is expensive. For example, we are currently testing HGH 191AA, and even after selling 10 kits, the margin from those sales does not cover the $450 cost of the lab test. At the prices we currently offer—which are intentionally kept very competitive—it simply isn't financially sustainable for Pephora to absorb the full cost of testing every product indefinitely. And I don't want the solution to be simply raising everyone's prices. 💙 That's where Group Buys come in. For future Group Buys, our goal will be: • Single peptides: Minimum commitment of 10 kits collectively • Peptide blends & GH: Minimum commitment of 20 kits collectively Once we reach the required participation level, we can purchase in volume and help support continued independent testing as part of the Group Buy model. So… who is ready for our NEXT GROUP BUY? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ Once we have enough committed participants, we can move forward with the Group Buy. Our goal has always been to keep pricing accessible while continuing to invest in independent testing. I use peptides myself, so I understand why affordability matters to this community and why so many of us are researching different ways to support our personal wellness goals. But for this model to remain sustainable, Group Buys need to work as they were designed: we buy together, we test together, and we help keep prices down together. If we can't generate enough participation through Group Buys to support ongoing testing costs, we may eventually need to adjust our regular pricing to help cover those expenses. I'd much rather make the community model work and keep our prices where they are.
