The Next Chapter: Gen X Travel Journeys Is Now Hosting Curated Group Adventures
Since 2012, I haven’t just booked trips. I've guided journeys. Not just reservations but reassurance. Not chaos but confidence. Now something’s shifted. We’re not chasing cheap anymore. We're chasing peace. Not checking boxes. Choosing meaning. Not “How much can I see? "But “How does this feel?” More of us are traveling solo but we don’t want to feel alone. We want freedom not overwhelm. Community not crowds. So here’s what’s next. Hand-picked Gen X group journeys. Not tour buses. Not party chaos. Not rushed itineraries. Small groups. Intentional pacing. Culture. Conversation. Comfort. Come solo. Leave connected. This isn’t just booking travel. It’s building experiences for grown folks who know the difference. You in? This or That?
Winter has a way of showing you two completely different kinds of magic. You can step into the sparkle of a city dressed in lights or escape to a quiet Arctic world where everything feels softer and slower. Both offer a reset in their own way. Both give you space to breathe after a long year. So tell me if you had to choose your winter escape right now would it be New York City or Lapland?

Big 5-0 & Full of Fabulousness: Travel Wisdom from my Journeys
Today, I hit the big 5-0. Fifty years of love, lessons, laughter, and of course… layovers. If there’s one thing travel has taught me over the years, it’s this: you don’t just age, you evolve. Every trip, every passport stamp, every missed flight has been part of that evolution. I’ve learned that: - Solo trips aren’t lonely, they’re soul-growing. - Group travel isn’t about numbers, it’s about vibes. - The destination is dope but the transformation is divine. - Comfort zones make cute prisons. Freedom lives in the unknown. I’m grateful for every moment. The good, the ghetto, and the Girl, we made it moments. So today, I’m raising my reusable travel water bottle to: - More culture-rich cruises - Deeper roots travel - Peaceful getaways and building the most fly and dope Gen X travel tribe right here in Skool! What’s one piece of travel wisdom YOU would gift your younger self? Or where are you headed next to celebrate YOU?
