Hi team, just letting you all know @Keith Bloemendaal referred a family of 8 who lost everything in the Hurricane. They are STILL living out of a 2 bedroom mobile home because all of Asheville raised rents by 3x. We are trying to raise $1,000 a month for them to get into another house. We've raised $500 so far. Hey team, I just wanted to keep you posted on who we are helping right now. We have a mom with 5 kids who lost their entire home in St Pete Fl from Hurricane Helene. We've drove them up to North Carolina and are currently housing them. Thank God we had an investment property for sale that we were able to take off the market and get them in. We've bought them all beds from Amazon, bought 5 chairs for the living room, keeping the fridge stocked, and got them a month membership at the trampoline park (best idea ever). They were even able to enjoy 2 days out on the boat with us to get their minds off things. Still no word from the insurance company yet. We are going to purchase more furniture and continue keeping that fridge stocked. If you have a business that needs any tax write-offs for 2024 feel free to donate whatever you can from your company below. Also, just being in this group and spreading the word is enough so don't ever feel obligated. My goal is 100,000 people in this group and I need your help to spread the word. That will be enough to always be prepared to help multiple families in need when they need it most. Additionally I'll be posting more about our donations as this is the 4th family we've been able to help.
