I Wanted to Quit.............
2 days ago, this happened (see image).
Yesterday, I made just two pars (+ 1 birdie) in 18 holes, and I was quite ready to quit golf.
After a good night's rest and genuine prayers, my relationship with golf shall be altered slightly....but I won't quit.
I can't quit.
This is where most people have quit, do quit, and will quit.
My reasoning for wanting to quit is the same reason why I'm not: I want to benefit other people.
When I'm playing golf, it feels like I'm being selfish: with my time, my hands, and my knowledge.
But I remind myself: I'm going through the gauntlet of the ups and downs so that I can have context from which to provide benefit, support, camaraderie, and a spirit of determination to others.
Let me suffer, so you don't have to.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
tldr: not quitting.
I want to quit daily
I want to quit weekly
I quit already
I'm never quitting
