Colorado Open...
Qualifier at CommonGround is tomorrow, 07/22!
I will be caddying for it. Target score to qualify is probably -6 or -7.
Yesterday I got paired with someone who happens to be playing in it and he asked if I was playing in it too...
"Not this year..."
Although I did make 3 birdies and narrowly missed 3 more...in the 9 holes I played.
- 1 birdie came from a 21 foot putt on #5 (after a 360 yd. drive)
- 2nd birdie came on the par 5 7th (after a 359 yd. drive), narrowly missing my eagle putt from 35'
- 3rd birdie came on the drivable par 4 8th, sinking an 18 footer.
So...next year is definitely on the table for a crack at the Colorado Open.
