Protecting my Mental Health Space
Hello everyone! It’s been a few weeks. Myself and my children….. I had to get us “Family Counseling “ to navigate this process with my husband and his mental health. Yes…. I help others in this field and it’s very rewarding….. but sometimes….. those tables turn and you have to help yourself and your family. Since I have the proper knowledge now on how to navigate things like this….. it made the process to get help A lot easier and faster. I/we are on a comeback…. and will be better than ever. # Protecting Our Peace ☮️

Boundaries When Helping Others
I’m learning more and more each day about”boundaries “ and why it’s important to respect people’s boundaries. I love 💕 helping people. It makes me feel sooo good when I do this. However, you have to know how far to go . Sometimes, people will take you helping them as you being over powering, pushy, taking away their independence. You know that’s not the case at all but… that’s how they are perceiving it. Try to ask upfront what the individual’s exact needs are so that you can stay within those”boundaries “ , to keep out unnecessary confusion/conflict/drama. Continue doing positive things and it will comeback to you double. Take care !💛💜💚

Mental/Behavioral Health Care Coordinator
Hi ! I wanted to share with you the role of a Care Coordinator. They are designed to be the leader in Wrap Around services. The Care Coordinator helps to put together the crisis and treatment plans for the parents/child. They help with finding resources that the family maybe in need of. Care Coordinator’s are Mandated Reporters so if they see signs of neglect/abuse etc. they have to report it. They also have special privileges to sign the child/ children up special camps , specific programs, etc that are not readily available to the public. I admire Care Coordinator’s for their dedication in all that they do for our behavioral/mental health community ! # Blessings to you all 💕💕💕

Creating Healthy Memories 💜💛💚
One of the fondest memories I have is always around this time of year. Mardi Gras time ! 💜💚💛 I grew up in Mobile,Al…. Which is the birthplace of Mardi Gras. We lived within walking distance of Downtown Mobile where the festivities always take place. My grandmother would walk us down and we would catch beads , moon pies, candy 🍭 etc. Those memories help me …. To remember to create positive memories for my children . I’m not perfect but I want my children to have more good memories than bad. More positive than negative. Start today creating healthy memories for yourself and your child/ children. You all deserve this ! 💜💚💛💜💚💛
