Today, coaching for kids was all about tuning into our bodies to recognize when our "alarm system" is going off. Recognizing what our individual typical response is. Then digging beneath the anger or shut down to what emotions are really going on inside our mind and body.
We used physical representations to learn about our brains, we acted out dramatic stories, and we did mindful exercises of scanning our bodies. Next week we will practice identifying feelings and saying them out loud (terrifying 👻).
