Tolaria and Reflect Open
I've seen a crop of free and open-source tools appear over the last couple of months, including the two that are in the title.
They're not half-assed projects either - especially Reflect, who've been around for some time as a paid service as well.
What I think of this - it's as though the surface for taking notes is becoming less and less valuable, seeing as people know they can go to the industry leader (Obsidian or similar), even on their desktop, and it's more the focus on the data that's collected in such note-taking systems and how we work with it that's more important.
Would be interested to hear if you've tried these or have any thoughts on them?
