Weekly Discussion #3 - Do you believe in past lives?
Some people believe our souls live many lives, carrying experiences, lessons, and even connections from one lifetime to the next. Others see the idea as more symbolic than literal.
Have you ever felt an unexplainable connection to a person, place, or time in history—like you’ve been there before? Do you think past lives are real, or is it just our imagination at work?
Past Life vs Reincarnation: They are closely related but not the same.
- Reincarnation is the process: The belief that after death, your soul is reborn into a new body and life. It’s a cycle that can repeat many times.
- Past lives are the result: The lives you’ve supposedly lived before your current one.
So, if reincarnation is the act of coming back, past lives are the collection of your previous journeys.

Personally, I do believe in past lives. I have seen a lot of convincing evidence over the years, and the fact that energy is neither created nor destroyed but only transferred leads to my belief that when you die, your energy is transferred to another soul. I feel deep connections with many different time periods and have always felt that I have been born into the wrong era.
