Narrating away the blues
Tonight I am spending an hour narrating someone else’s book.
This takes my mind off my own stresses and allows me to completely immerse myself in another world. I get to play other characters and delve into a universe away from the traumas of my own.
Not that we should ignore our traumas or push away our feelings, but sometimes it is okay to completely focus on something entirely outside of ourselves.
