I think I’ve finally found the type of editing I truly enjoy. Since working full time has been a challenge to upload fully edited videos all the time, I’ve been looking for a way to put something out, especially more related to my Skool at the same time. So I’m documenting daily or every other day (if I somehow forget) of my progress to building my Skool. “Ex: Day 1 of building my dream car community.” Also, uploading straight up videos of me talking has gotten more engagement (with less views, but reaching the right audience). I’d consider this a win, but I had a spike of people visit my skool for the first time from my SM platform links… so it’s a start!

I’m thinking of ways to basically make a video showing around my community to pin to my Instagram profile. It’s hard to get people to click a link, but seeing a video first of the actual community and literal steps to sign up would make it easier. Most people don’t even know what Skool is. I just wanna catch anyone on my profile with a reel along with the “link in my bio.” I could do a screen record on my phone and a face cam explaining how to navigate it 🤔

I’ve discovered something amazing. My first ever real carousel after YEARS growing on Instagram blew up and has given me over 100 new followers in just a day or two. I’m kinda obsessed with making them almost daily at this point… when I can’t make reels. I decided to focus on one topic at a time, while maybe adding reels to the mix intermittently. Focusing on ONE topic to maximize the learning potential I feel would benefit people more than random ones… almost like a series. I can also use these topics in my Skool. (*cough* you can see what I did in the images). I’ve posted hundreds of reels… and the thing that took the least amount of time added the most value and the most followers. It’s another learning curve to improving this but it’s a good start :) Thanks for coming to my TED talk 👀

I came upon an idea of making valuable Instagram Carousels with easy to digest tips or information. I seen something similar on a car page and thought I could easily do this to keep my posting consistent. I can make these at work pretty easily. If there’s anything else I can add to make it nicer, easier to understand and maybe to drive more traffic to Skool, throw them out there :) It may look “easy to make” but the information is very specific to things I do on a daily basis to teach regular car owners valuable skills.
