Today I'm releasing two new additions to the PPS Resolution Series from the aspirational City of Boizhon. Resolution #09 📘 Charter School Exploration Commission Resolution #10 🏡 Homeschool Access, Equity & Workforce Preparedness Funding Program These demonstration resolutions are not intended as arguments for or against any particular educational model. Instead, they explore a broader question: When existing educational pathways are not producing the desired outcomes for all students, what alternative viable options should communities be willing to consider? The purpose of the Boizhon Resolution Series is not to provide ready-made answers. The purpose is to create a space where communities, policymakers, educators, parents, and civic leaders can explore possibilities without immediately becoming trapped in ideological camps. Boizhon serves as an aspirational policy laboratory where real civic challenges are examined through demonstration resolutions, thought experiments, and policy exploration. Whether one agrees with these proposals or not, the larger question remains: How should communities respond when educational outcomes remain stubbornly difficult to improve? 📖 Coming Soon Alternative Viable Option Brief: Expanding Educational Pathways This forthcoming brief will explore the reasoning behind both resolutions and examine how municipalities can support expanded educational pathways while maintaining a commitment to educational opportunity and community development. Discussion Question: If existing educational pathways aren't working equally well for everyone, what alternative viable options do you think deserve more exploration? •Charter schools? •Homeschool support? •Trade schools? •Apprenticeships? •Early college programs? •Community learning hubs? •Something else? Let's discuss. Resolutions available in Policy-Resolution Development Lane.
