Mullein Syrup!

  • 1 cup dried mullein leaves
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup honey (or agave for a vegan option)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
Directions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the mullein leaves, water, cinnamon, and ginger.
  2. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
  3. Strain the liquid through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean bowl, discarding the plant material.
  4. While the liquid is still warm, stir in the honey or agave until fully dissolved.
  5. Pour the syrup into a sterilized glass bottle or jar, seal tightly, and refrigerate.
  6. Enjoy one tablespoon daily as a flavorful way to support your well-being. Use within two weeks for maximum freshness! Great for respiratory issues.
