Welcome, you’re right where you belong 👋🏻
Photographers are observant people. We notice light, movement, mood. Even online, it doesn’t take long to know if a community feels like a place you belong. Have you ever walked into a space full of people you didn’t know and instantly felt out of place? Maybe you lingered at the edges. Watched conversations form. Waited for the right moment to jump in… or didn’t. This space is different. By being here early, you’re already one of the first in the room. You don’t have to figure out where you fit. You help set the tone. You get to welcome others in, instead of feeling overwhelmed by a room that’s already buzzing. This group is for photographers who: - Prefer meaningful connection over noise - Learn by doing, collaborating, and sharing - Are curious, creative, and ready to grow at their own pace I’m so glad you’re here. Take a look around, introduce yourself when you’re ready, and know that this is a space designed to feel supportive, inspiring, and very human. Welcome. You belong here. 💫

If you’re just joining us, please introduce yourself and share a favorite photo you’ve taken, which type of camera you typically use or plan to start using. I’ll try to create content based on what everyone likes, and hopefully we’ll have lots of members with similar equipment. 📸. This community is meant for sharing, so don’t be shy! ☺️

Here's a bit of fun...
Go up to the search bar and type in "Let there be cat" and see what happens... Bit of advice, turn the sound down to a reasonable level before you hit enter 🤣 I learned this the hard way! Then have a little fun by clicking on the cat 😽
Kirby up close
Up close and personal with my demon cat. He's wonderful... until he marks "his territory" all over my house.

Fuzzy Bee
Found this little guy hanging out inside my watering can so I snapped a few pics with my Canon EOS 60D. I didn't mess with the settings because I was worried he would fly away, so they're set at f/5.6, ISO 400, 1/125 sec exposure time. EF 100mm f/2.8 macro USM lens. 72dpi
