.....using Opencode (opencode.ai), highly recommended.
I've been trying Opencode for the last week. The desktop version (available for all OSs) looks a little basic compared to the likes of Claude Code but it's got all the essentials. It's developed by developers and run by a non for profit company. I'm also trying their Zen and Go costing options. Zen is pay as you go and provides you the option of easily swapping models continuously if you need or there's the Go subscription that starts at just $5 per month.
Oh and I did say I was coding for free - they currently have the brilliant latest Deekseep V4 Flash for free.
