I was born and am living in Japan. Through my journey with calligraphy, I discovered Onore-sho—a freeform style of writing that comes from the self. When I first tried drawing Onore-sho, something opened inside me. The more I practiced calligraphy, the more I began to access myself, entering a quiet, meditative state through the brush.
This is the art I wanted to share with my friends around the world.
Onore-sho is about having fun, drawing freely, and expressing emotions without rules or expectations. No experience is needed. Everyone who practices is a special artist, because your work comes from you.
In a world shaped by technology & screens, this practice offers a simple way to return to creativity through your hands. All you need is a Japanese brush pen, paper, and yourself.
Here, we create together in a loving, creative community from all over the world, sharing an art that travels from hand to hand, heart to heart. This is not traditional calligraphy. It is freeform self-expression.
