Face the light
Something I was talking about in a networking group recently really seemed to land.
It was such a simple thing, but one of those small shifts that changes everything.
If you’re taking your own photos, face the light.
It sounds obvious, but it’s so easy to sit with a window behind you or bright light coming from the back, and it leaves your face in shadow.
Turning towards the light, even slightly, brings clarity, softness, and connection to your photo.
It’s often the difference between a photo that feels a bit flat and one that feels natural and engaging.
