New Orleans Trip – What Came Up Today (and What Actually Matters)

Had a small session today talking through the New Orleans trip, and a few things stood out that I think will help anyone who’s been thinking about going but hasn’t decided yet.

1. Hotel clarity matters more than price The biggest question wasn’t “how much?”

— it was:👉 Where am I staying and does it feel comfortable?

So I’m keeping this simple:

– Moderate hotel option

– Walkable location (French Quarter access)

– Balance of comfort + cost

– Roommate matching available if you want to reduce cost without sacrificing the experience

2. People don’t want to plan everything

A lot of hesitation comes from:

👉 “How do I actually get there and move around?”

So I’m building an optional upgrade where I handle:

– Flights

– Airport transfers

– Getting you from your door → hotel → back home

You show up.

Everything else is handled.

3. The experience matters more than the checklist

One thing that came up:

👉 Jazz / live music

That’s not something I’m leaving to chance I’m shaping parts of the trip around it (especially Frenchmen Street and local spots).
