START HERE: How One Song One Mood Board Works
WHAT THIS IS One song. One mood board. Fourteen-day lab. We take a track you love and build a Pinterest board that looks how it sounds. You have up to 14 days from when you join to do the lessons, post your BEFORE, and get my help on your board. After that, you can stick around for art streams, coffee hours, podcasts with members, and other sessions inside the community (all in the works). WHAT YOU BRING For the lab, you pick: - 1 genre on everynoise.com (click “scan”) - 1 main song - 1 association (a scene, object, place, memory, or character) - 3 words for that association Example: “basement, cold, 3 a.m.” That is the seed for your board. WHAT I DO You make a studio board on your own Pinterest and add me as a collaborator. I use the seed and pins to tweak the studio board so your idea looks and reads better: - Clean up the visual display - Remove noise and extra complexity - Push it closer to the essence of your chosen song I do this on a Skool live stream: - Either with you on live (camera optional), or - Without you, and you watch the replay later You always keep your own board. The studio board is our working copy that we edit together or that I edit for you. WHAT YOU GET Inside this Skool group you get: - Short lessons on: - Picking songs and genres - Finding images - Arranging a board so it feels like one scene - A shared studio board on Pinterest that I edit with you or for you - A live edit session (or replay) where I walk through your board and what I’d change PRICE & GUARANTEE Price: $49 for the first 10 spots. 14-Day Lab Guarantee: If you do the work (complete Lesson 1 and 2, post your BEFORE under this pinned post, and add me to edit your studio board) and by Day 14 your board still doesn’t feel closer to the essence of your song, I’ll refund you. If you refund, you’ll be removed from the paid community, but you’re welcome to rejoin later when it becomes a monthly subscription (without this refund offer).

Example mood board: Cool sh*t I think is cool (full tour)
This is my main board, “Cool sh*t I think is cool”. It’s not finished and probably never will be. I keep adding to it. But it’s a really solid example of what a mood board can look like. Watch the scroll video, and you'll see what I mean. Then open this folder to see every section close-up: Google Drive folder with all screenshots How to use this: - Notice how certain themes, textures, and colors allow the visual to keep on growing as I scroll - Pay attention to how the whole board interlocks together. No single pin should feel out of place ( for the most part) - When you build your own board for the lab, aim for this kind of “cohesive chaos” where it feels like one visual, not random cool images put together Bonus: There’s an audio at the end with the background story of why I started creating boards.

Example mood board: Afro Rustic Seal (full tour)
This is my “Afro Rustic Seal” board. It’s done. It's an example of a specific micro-genre. Watch the scroll video to see how different it is. Then open this folder to see each part in detail: Google Drive link to all screenshots How to use this: - Notice how it starts complex, drops into a simpler section, then ends complex again. That contrast makes the board more interesting - Look at how the leading lines help to transition from day to night - When you build your own lab board, steal these two ideas. In no time, your board will read like its own micro-genre Bonus: There's an audio attached that explains the timeline of this board.

Playlist: Add one song in the comments
I want to make a likkle community playlist with you guys 🤓 Here is how it works: 1. Look at the last song someone commented. 2. Add one song that feels like it could come next. 3. Please don’t just drop your favorite song. Build off the last one. I’ll put all the songs into one playlist so it’s easy for everyone to listen. The less mainstream, the better. If you make music, bruddah, plz think twice before you add your own song. I know it’s harsh but… ( i'm sure your music is great tho 👍) anyways... I’m also thinking of adding a simple rating game later: - Each week, people add songs - We rate them 1–10 in the replies - The top song of the week gets locked into the main playlist through a poll vote For now: scroll to the comments and add ONE song that builds on from the last. namaste

Got ideas to make this community more fun or interesting? Drop them here. How to use this post: - Write one idea per comment - It can be about: live streams, things other Skool groups do that you wish we had here, what you want to see in the classroom tab, challenges, anything - No idea is “too small” - Make it clear enough so I understand what you mean chop chop 👏 (joking, do it on your own timing) I’ll read through these when I’m planning new stuff for the group.
