I debated for quite a while whether I should make this post weeks ago, because I feel it is important to be transparent and hear from other members who may have had a similar or completely different experience.
I'm a single father raising three daughters. Every financial decision I make affects more than just me. Before joining the Elite program, I spent considerable time asking questions, seeking clarification, and making sure I understood exactly what I was investing in because a $4,997 investment was significant for my family.
Prior to enrolling, I expressed concerns about a previous business arrangement where I experienced substantial financial loss. Because of that experience, I specifically asked detailed questions about support, coaching, strategic oversight, channel management, timelines, and what responsibilities would fall on me versus the team.
Based on the written and verbal information I received before enrolling, I moved forward believing I would receive meaningful guidance, strategic oversight, and ongoing support throughout the channel-building process.
I took a leap of faith and moved forward.
Over the past month, however, my experience has been different from what I expected.
In practice, I have personally handled much of the channel management process, including content strategy input, uploads, SEO optimization, descriptions, quality control, revisions, publishing oversight, and other responsibilities that I believed would largely be handled by the team.
In addition, coaching sessions have been postponed multiple times, communication has been limited, and the level of involvement and guidance I expected has not materialized in the way I understood it would prior to my enrolling and as was promised.
To be clear, this post is not about whether a channel succeeds or fails.
I fully understand there are no guarantees in business, YouTube, or entrepreneurship especially having been an entrepreneur for many years.
My concern is whether the services and support delivered align with the expectations that were created before I made the investment.
As someone supporting three daughters on my own, I cannot afford to make many mistakes of this size. That is why this situation has been difficult for me.
I have attempted to address my concerns privately and respectfully. At this point, I am simply trying to understand whether my experience is unique or whether other members have had similar experiences.
If you've had success, I would genuinely like to hear about it.
If your experience has been different, I would appreciate hearing that as well.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
