What Matters More: Adding Another Truck or Building the Business Behind It?
A lot of owner-operators dream about growing from one truck to several trucks.
But here's an interesting question:
If you had extra money to invest in your business today, would you buy another truck or improve the business itself first?
For example:
- Building a website
- Finding direct customers
- Improving systems and processes
- Recruiting drivers
- Marketing your company
- Creating additional income streams
Some owner-operators say adding trucks is the fastest way to grow.
Others say too many trucking businesses fail because they expand equipment before building the business foundation.
