As always, this is the first of many lessons coming in our new course:
Build a CRM in Obsidian-Claw
Send email with OpenClaw P1
Most people try to automate email way too early. That’s backwards.
What you actually need first is the scaffolding.
In this lesson, I show you how I’m building email sending inside my Obsidian CRM with OpenClaw by starting small and being very explicit with the instructions.
Instead of blasting generic automated emails, I’m linking:
• the related person
• the related conversation
• the related send template
Then OpenClaw uses that context to draft an email that actually fits the person.
That’s the shift:
from generic automation to context-aware communication
This is still the early stage, but it’s the right stage.
Get the structure right first.
Then connect Gmail.
Then scale.
That’s how you build something useful instead of building a robotic spam cannon.
If you’ve ever wanted your CRM to help you send smarter email, this lesson will show you how the pieces fit together.
