Napoleon Hill wrote this quote in his most famous book “Think and Grow Rich.” In one of his recordings he mentions the fact that it does not state, “it will achieve” it says, “it can achieve.” Using the words of Dr. Hill, to first achieve anything you must have a “definiteness of purpose” a conceivable plan and take massive action , before great things can be achieved. If you don’t have a chief aim, or definiteness of purpose that is like starting a car and putting it in drive and hoping it will go where you want it with no driver, or no end point. It is highly unlikely that it will get near any destination without crashing almost immediately after it starts. Get clear on where you want to go and what you would like to accomplish and formulate a rough plan to accomplish this. I say rough, because almost all plans have detours and road blocks, so you will always be adjusting and pivoting. If you are still finding what you desire most, I challenge you to take at least 15 minutes per day and jot down ideas that would best suit you naturally talents and something that can become “a labor of love” for you.
