Reminder for everyone:
Monday MidDay Reset coming up this Monday You can join from home on this platform, turn on from a smart phone or computer at the office, or while you’re out and about, just find a comfortable place to pause. Maybe somewhere you can look outside or catch a bit of sunlight if possible. If not, that’s okay too. Surround yourself with things that help you feel at ease, a calming scent, a picture to focus on, or even a small potted plant. We only need 5 minutes to reset, so show up for 5 and stay for 15… maybe even 30 if you’d like. There are no obligations and no time requirements, this is your time, your way. If you don’t like a pose or stretch, do something that feels good to you. Always remember, this is your practice, not mine—I’m just here to guide.

Step one: Hydration is key, water is life.
As we move through the excitement and busyness of this holiday weekend, don’t forget to nourish yourself too. Drink plenty of water. Eat foods that fuel your body. Moisturize your skin with a little coconut oil. Step outside, breathe deeply, and give yourself a few quiet moments to reset. Just like this waterfall, you can be both peaceful and incredibly powerful. Its strength doesn’t come from rushing, it comes from a constant, steady flow. Take care of yourself first, and you’ll have the energy to show up for everything and everyone else. Be unstoppable. Be grounded. Be a force that leaves people in awe, simply by being your authentic self. Happy holiday weekend, everyone. ✨ Nourish. Move. Bloom.

Use your energy for yourself
This morning in Richmond, Virginia, I found myself slowing down. Coffee Dog by my side Music playing. A good book. And now… writing. I’ve always felt most at peace in this energy. Growing up, slowing down was often seen as being lazy. Rest wasn’t celebrated. Mindfulness wasn’t understood. I’m grateful I never lost that part of myself. Now it’s becoming my mission to help others rediscover it too. It’s okay to meditate It's okay to dance in your Kitchen It’s okay to listen to music instead of rushing to mow the lawn the moment you wake up. Ask yourself… Why? Why are you putting pressure on yourself to have the “perfect” lawn before you’ve even had a chance to enjoy your morning? Why are you spending your day off trying to prove your worth instead of restoring your energy? For years, I lived with the mindset that my value came from impressing other people. Looking back, that’s a heavy way to live. I’m still unlearning it every day. Now I’m intentionally shifting my energy and my life force to serve me first, because when my cup is full, I have so much more to give to everyone else. Today, I invite you to slow down. Take the walk. Drink the coffee/tea Read the book Just Dance Breathe. Your energy is precious. Protect it. Nurture it.
