Most of the time, we try to teach our kids with words — telling them what to do, what not to do, critiquing them, using "scripts" to get what we want.
But it doesn’t really shape who they become. What matters is what they see.
In my family, I’m the weird one — I’m the one who gets up at 6 a.m. on a Saturday to go for a run. The one who fasts just to challenge myself. The one who refuses to fall into the trap of comfort and easy choices.
Parenting can often leave us with little to zero energy left for ourselves.
Here you will find support, encouragement, inspiration and accountability. We are helping each other show up as the example our kids will remember when they have to make choices of their own.
