Q&A Corner
❓ Welcome to the Q&A Corner! One of the most valuable things we can do as nonprofit leaders is learn from one another. This space was created for you to ask questions, share challenges, exchange ideas, and receive support from both the community and me. Need feedback on: ✨ Fundraising or grants? ✨ Board development? ✨ Marketing or storytelling? ✨ Community partnerships? ✨ Systems, strategy, or scaling your impact? Drop your questions here! There are no “perfect” organizations—just organizations willing to learn, grow, and improve together. Chances are, if you’re struggling with something, someone else is too. As we build Nonprofit Mission Million, my hope is that this becomes a collaborative space where the 92% of nonprofits under $1M can gain clarity, confidence, and practical support. 👇 Introduce yourself and share your first question below!
Is Your Organization Visible Enough for Funders?
Let’s dive into this with a little story. One of my clients recently applied for a grant with a great application and solid responses. The feedback? Everything was funder-ready except… they didn’t have a social media presence. That detail cost them an opportunity. So, I’m curious — what does your organization’s social media presence currently look like? Did you know funders and partners often look at your online presence as part of their decision-making process? Share what platforms you’re on, how you’re using them, or if you’re just getting started. Let’s learn from each other!

Google Ad Grants
💰 Financial Fridays 💰 Did you know eligible nonprofits can receive up to $10,000/month in FREE Google Ads through the Google Ad Grants program? 👀 That means your organization can: • Increase awareness for your mission • Drive traffic to your website • Recruit volunteers • Promote events and programs • Increase donations and community engagement • Reach people actively searching for causes like yours For many small nonprofits, visibility is one of the biggest challenges. This is a powerful (and often underused) resource that can help you expand your reach without increasing your marketing budget. How to find aligned grants on no budget?
My problem with grants has been that I am doing something new that doesn't neatly fit in one box. It is a combination of conservation, nonprofit development, and community outreach. I used the demo for instumentl and it only gave me the same 4 grants that I had already applied to and was denied. I tried grants.gov but that hot mess is nearly impossible to decipher. Most of the opportunities onthere are for specific research purposes it seems. Where can I find real opportunities for grant funding?
