Facebook Reel is taking off | How to leverage?
I am wondering if there are any suggestions for how or what to leverage when a reel starts getting some great traction on FB.
I have a very short, 10 sec one that hit 200,000+ organic views and climbing of a short cover version I did of "Stairway to Heaven" (called "May Queen").
I did add a one shot horizontal video of all 45 sec of it to my cold CD sales ad creative today and posted a comment on this 200K reel directing them to that ad post if they want to hear the whole excerpt.
This song is not released and the only version I have of it is this 45 second bit I created for these May Queen shorts for the month of May.
Is there anything else I can do to leverage this traction?
I have had followers let me know they'd like me to flesh this song idea out. Should I perhaps focus on that for the next month or two and keep posting on this theme until I can release it? Any other thoughts on how to best capitalize on this moment? Should I keep posting other short reels of this as I have been doing each day?
Maybe do a retarget campaign later to this audience to gather emails by giving them the download? Any other thoughts? https://facebook.com/nymphya/videos/1059035856119936/
