i spent the last 15 years figuring this out so you dont have to
after over 15 year working with artist day n night as a music producer and audio engineer .. i had to figure this out on my own real studio sessions, real projects, real wins, real failures and finally .. success back in 2011 i cofounded a label Twist Up Entertainment with artist audio engineer Yung HD (He has used this exact process to gain millions of streams on his own catalog) we did it all… shows, tours, music videos, studio sessions, managers, magazine covers, blogs, showcases.. all the stuff in 2016 i opened Day-N-Night Recording Studio in Mobile AL where i was able to work with artist like Yung Bleu, Honeykomb Brazy and even NoCap (Young Globe at the time) came thru to record with HD before moving to Atlanta GA in 2019 and working with artist from all over the city in some of the biggest studios i had good years, bad years and everything in between in that time i have worked with over 400 independent rappers singers and songwriters but the more artists i worked with... the more i saw the same problem no blueprint no structure just tryna drop music and hope it do numbers on its own most was skipping steps doing everything out of order and missing out on real opportunities like publishing money, royalties, sync deals, promo budgets.. all that and it was hurting me too as the producer or the audio engineer behind those records We couldn’t get the results i knew we couldve got so i said forget it.. imma learn everything myself and then start showing the artists i work with step by step from A - Z... that’s what the -> Rapper Secrets Blueprint <- is it’s everything i learned in 15 years about producing full projects (Albums, EPS, Singles, Mixtapes, etc) from planning to producing to promoting, step-by-step no fluff just the real strategy, for FREE! it’s under the -> classroom <- tab right now under Trainings

The Truth About Marketing Your Music
A lot of independent rappers drop music and hope for streams… but what if I told you that streams alone won’t build a profitable music career? So in this video, I break down why clarity is the key to moving forward. If you dont know whether you buildin for numbers or buildin for real fans who support you, you might be wastin yo time. im reacting to Adam Ivy’s marketing strategies and showing you how to: ✅ Convert attention into real income (not just clout) ✅ Build relationships that make people want to support yo music ✅ Stop procrastinating and take consistent action toward your career This is the game most artist ignore, and that’s why they struggle to make music a business instead of just a hobby. Watch the full video now and drop your thoughts in the comments Do you feel like you have a clear strategy for your music? Or are you still figuring it out? 📺 Watch the Video Here

@Laura Burris exactly, someone who has worked IN THE STUDIO with over 400 independent rappers over the last 15 years helping artist from their first songs and projects to getting to over 3 million streams in a year Ran Day-N-Night Recording Studio & Twist Up Entertainment and even some top selling major artist like Yung Bleu and NoCap Honeykomb Brazy or platinum producers and Grammy nominated like Mattaztic (Lil Baby Producer) and Kent Lucciano (Swae Lee) .. Lived in Atlanta for 5 years building industry connections ... not to mention built a 6 figure business in music AND hosting events Using sales strategies, funnels, ads, sales and dm scripts, etc that kinda competent specialist?
Ads Managers
To make a long post short who’s a great ad manager? Like weekly (bare min. Monthly) check ins and actually reachable and replies type guy. I’m running my own YouTube, Spotify and Meta ads but Meta and their weekly changes make me feel like I’m working towards being a marketer not a rapper. I know some conversions misfire and I can see that in my streams that the ads definitely work but I’m trying to get the cost per conversion WAY LOWER. This is a new ad set for a new project I put out a few weeks ago and I’m currently on the 4th ad. The first 2 I didn’t notice the Advantage+ until the ads were really running and getting a lot of conversations for folks my Grandpa age and the age group I set was 18-34.. but with Advantage+ that’s nothing but a suggestion to Facebook. On this 4th ad it seemed solid the first 2 days and now I’m looking at $1.20 a conversion 😭 and Ads manager is spend 40% this weekend. YouTube I got down packed… For 4 years Facebook been beating my ass on and off. Can someone help PLS @redeyedsi on all platforms. I’m completely cool with paying for someone else to do this part (And I went to school for marketing which I feel is sad but this is EXTREMELY time consuming). I’m open to anything at this point suggestions or agencies but if it’s someone trying to charge $300/month with no ad spend just to manage the account (Like the last guy quoted me) I’m good with these $1 conversions.

I would honestly say posting videos on youtube taking your fans along on your journey as a independent rapper (think main character of a movie and each video is a small episode) is a much better option if you dont have the funds to pay for ads and understand sales funnels and willing to lose some money in the process collecting data for long term growth most ads are ment to collect data (lead magnets) and convert on the back end over a extensive nurturing process (long form videos, short videos, emails, calls etc) Think paying $1 for a name / email address / phone number (priceless) v $1 for a stream ($0.043) if you only want more streams, you need people who will continue to come back (re occurring listeners) which is a RESULT of them basically liking YOU and wanting to be APART of the JOURNEY. And also constantly reminding them to return to your new content and offers via emails and sms and social media Showing / telling YOUR STORY on video (youtube is free and they pay you 51% ad rev) and building your personal brand will get a MUCH higher ROI (return on investment) than paying for a single stream up front BONUS TIP.. as you get more data from the content organically for free, take the best performing content and use that to run ads. A relationship and someone knowing your story and where you come from and what your going through and trying to achieve is far more valuable than a # of streams to boost your ego essentially. I go over the Marketing in the Post Production phase in my Rapper Secrets Blueprint inside my free community plus a ton of other resources to help out artist for free -> independentrappers.com and if you want to checkout some of my beats they are available for free download here -> www.a100drumz.com i hope this helps, lmk if you got any questions.. im here to help Your Exec Prod, - A1XX @A100DRUMZ
