The Open Studio is a working art community led by studio artist Nik Boivin. This space is for artists who want to grow without pretending they have everything figured out.
The focus here is process over perfection. Members share works in progress, talk honestly about what feels awkward or stuck, and learn how to see their own work more clearly over time. This is not a tutorial library or a productivity space. It’s a shared studio environment built around making art in real life.
Inside the community, you’ll find optional critique, conversations about creative blocks and plateaus, and monthly live group critique sessions led by Nik. Participation looks different for everyone. Lurking is allowed. Silence is allowed. Growth happens at different speeds.
The Open Studio exists to support artists through the messy middle of practice, where learning, unlearning, and trust all overlap.
