Winding down
This my answer to Richard's September focus.
Working instinctively, I don't think it is possible to say my work has been influenced by any one photographer's work. Street photography is a medium that I am drawn to and I expect that my work is influenced by the work of a number of photographers.
In response to this month's focus I have given some thought as to whose work moves me. . The work and careers of Henri Cartier-Bresson, Bill Brandt, Fan Ho, Man Ray and latterly Alan Schaller are of particular interest. With this in mind I spent an afternoon shooting in Manchester and the attached is one of many shots taken. It's probably a distillation of ideas, what do others think?
