POSTPONED: Jersey Gives Strong IRL Charity Event (4/25)
Hi, guys! We were notified by Skool that mayors are no longer allowed to host events that involve payments or agendas/structured workshops through the IRL program. Due to this, we will be postponing our Jersey Gives Strong IRL Charity Event (originally on April 25th) until further notice. We are planning on restructuring the event to fit the new guidelines & we'll keep everyone posted once we receive more clarity! We were just informed of the rule changes & apologize for the late notice. Stay tuned for the next NJ IRL Event details! - Sam & Brian 🤍

🌾 May Is Celiac Awareness Month
Holistically, Realistically! with Laura Williams breaks down what that really means Celiac Awareness Month exists because millions of people are living with symptoms they can’t explain such as fatigue, bloating, brain fog, skin issues, nutrient deficiencies & many never realize the root cause is gluten. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄: Celiac is NOT an allergy. It’s an autoimmune disease. But explaining it like an allergy is often the only way people grasp how serious it is. When someone with celiac eats gluten, their immune system doesn’t just get “upset.” It attacks their small intestine, damaging the villi that absorb nutrients. Over time, this can lead to 𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮, 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘀, 𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀, and 𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. This is why awareness matters ~ because the symptoms are real, the damage is real, and the diagnosis is often missed for years. 🌿 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗰 𝘃𝘀. 𝗚𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 ~ 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 🌿 There’s a spectrum of gluten reactions: ✨ Celiac Disease: autoimmune, intestinal damage ✨ Non‑Celiac Gluten Sensitivity: immune activation without villi destruction ✨ Wheat Allergy: IgE‑mediated allergic reaction 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵: Non‑celiac gluten intolerance can be just as life‑disrupting as celiac. The i𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲, 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻, and 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗴 can be severe ~ even if labs come back “normal.” Your symptoms are valid. Your experience is real. And you deserve answers. 🌾 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆? 🌾 Because the gluten we’re eating today is not the gluten our grandparents ate. 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻: • hybridized for yield, not digestibility • processed with additives • sprayed with glyphosate before harvest • milled into ultra‑fine flour that spikes blood sugar • added to foods that never traditionally contained wheat 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲, 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁: • has lower gluten content • is grown under stricter chemical regulations • is processed differently • is often tolerated better by sensitive individuals
