Hey team, pumped to be writing the first post for this community; starting a journey that will eventually help thousands of Kiwis nail the start of their sales career!
As the community name states, we're going to focus on the FUNDAMENTALS.
Not the advanced 'situational re-framing' you see on Instagram, just the bread and butter of sales that consistently gets results.
It's what I needed when starting in sales 9 years ago, and what I still rely on today.
So, since the majority of members in this group have started their career less than 2 years ago, if you could've given yourself ONE piece of advice before starting in sales, what would that be?
I'll go first: Focus on learning about the prospect more than selling, and the sale takes care of itself.
