CREDIT TIP: Keep Utilization Under 30%
Credit utilization is the percentage of your available credit that you're using.
📌 Example:
If you have a credit card with a $1,000 limit, try to keep your balance below $300.
Why does this matter?
Your credit utilization is one of the biggest factors that affects your credit score. High balances can signal risk to lenders, even if you make your payments on time.
✅ Under 30% = Good
✅ Under 10% = Even Better
❌ Maxed-out cards = Can hurt your score
Remember: It's not just about paying on time, it's also about how much of your available credit you're using.
