Beliefs and assumptions
When will you finally understand this… everything in your life is simply the expression of what you believe to be true?
Let me make it simple.
I could sit here and give you a thousand reasons why I love my husband. I could describe him in the most beautiful way. I could show you memories, moments, emotions.
And still… you wouldn’t see him the way I do.
Why?
Because you’re not seeing him through my beliefs.
To you, he’s just a person. To me, he is love, safety, home.
Same person. Different reality.
That’s how powerful your perception is.
This is exactly what Neville Goddard was teaching when he said: “You don’t see the world as it is, you see it as you are.”
You’re not reacting to life. You’re interpreting life through the lens of your assumptions.
And the Bible says the same thing, just in a different language.
“According to your faith be it unto you.” (Matthew 9:29)
Through Neville’s lens, this isn’t about hoping or wishing. This is law.
Your inner world — your beliefs, your assumptions, your identity — is what gives meaning to everything outside of you.
So the question is not: “Why is my life like this?”
The real question is: “What must I be believing to experience it this way?”
Because just like I see my husband through love… you are seeing your entire life through whatever state you are living in.
Change the lens, and the whole world changes with it.
