Hi, I'm Kathie. I'm a mom first. My son Levi is 16, on the autism spectrum, and this space exists because of everything the two of us have been through together. For years I was the one up too late, Googling everything, trying to figure out what nobody tells you. The routines that don't work the way the books say they should. The days that feel like you're failing even when you're doing everything right. The loneliness of feeling like no one around you really gets it. This is the space I wish I'd had back then. I'm not a therapist. I'm not here to diagnose or treat anything. I'm just a parent who's lived this for 15+ years, who's learned a lot the hard way, and who wants this to be a place where you don't have to explain yourself before someone understands. So say hi. Tell us where you're at right now, whether that's a brand new diagnosis, a hard week, or just curiosity about what this place is. There's no wrong way to show up here. You are not alone in this. Kathie This also checks off "write your first post" toward Discovery. Let me know if you want any changes, and say the word when you're ready for me to post it live in the Community tab.
