Fleur de Lucet
Also called a lucet fork or a cord making fork.
I like to use tools like this with young children who want to "yarn" with me. Here's the cord I made with Loops & Threads bulky yarn. After cording it, I ran it through the fleur de lucet again to get it ready to be a bag handle.
I 3D printed a bag base I plan to crochet the remaining yarn into to make the bag. The base has hole just big enough for a 5.5-6mm hook to make it through.
