Revived a 2010 MacBook Pro recently
Found an old 2010 MacBook Pro collecting dust. Installed macOS Ventura on it. Unsupported hardware. Had to navigate legacy EFI quirks, boot loops, stop symbols. Got it running. Now it's going to run a ClawBot. AI walked me through every step. What would have taken a week of forum diving took a few hours. The gap between "this is impossible" and "this is done" keeps shrinking. What's the oldest piece of hardware you've brought back to life?

Sometimes Claude gets bossy with me.
"While it builds -- this is genuinely the last thing for today. Once we see the three buttons and the guest modal working, we update both docs and close out. You've had a very full day." Not sure if i like the pushes Claude gives me sometime. 😁😅

Five minutes that changed how Claude talks to me
I used Claude for months the default way. Every conversation started from scratch. Generic tone. Responses that sounded like everyone else. Then I found Custom Instructions. Two boxes. Five minutes. Now Claude knows who I am, how I write, and what I never want it to do. No em dashes. No filler phrases. Short sentences. Direct tone. Every single conversation since has been sharper and faster. If you have not set yours up yet go to your profile icon in Claude, click Custom Instructions, and tell it exactly how you want it to behave. That is the smallest thing I did this week with the biggest return. What settings or tweaks have you found that actually changed how you use AI? Drop them below. 👽

We shipped it.
Took longer than planned. Had technical issues. Recorded it anyway. Custom GPTs from Scratch is live. First free course on Neon Aliens AI. Michelle knows AI. I ask the questions you are probably thinking. Between us we made something genuinely useful. Go take it and tell us what you build. That is the whole point of this community. 👽

Claude diagnosed my puppy before I panicked and called the vet
Snickers is 15 weeks old and last week he started throwing up and refusing to eat. I was genuinely worried. Before calling the vet I opened Claude and described everything. What he was eating, when we got him, what changed recently. Turns out we switched his food cold turkey instead of transitioning slowly over 7 to 10 days. His stomach never had a chance to adjust. Claude also flagged that scrambled eggs, while great for older dogs, are too rich for a 12 week old puppy. And it reminded me that a lethargic puppy not moving around enough can make digestion worse. We slowed the food transition, pulled the eggs, made sure he was staying active. Snickers is completely fine now. No vet bill. No panic. Just a straight answer in 60 seconds. This is what I mean when I say AI is useful beyond your business. It meets you wherever the problem is. Drop your best non-business Claude or ChatGPT win in the comments. Curious what problems you have thrown at it.
