An In-Person Workshop
If any of you are local to Little Rock, on Saturday May 30 I'll be doing an in-person workshop at the Historic Arkansas Museum. I don't know what they charge for attendees, so you'll need to visit their website to find out but it's usually around $25. The class is limited to 10 and we'll make rough watercolor paints from rocks that I'll bring with me. The hours will be from 10-4, minimum age to attend is 15. I had to set a minimum age because the last time someone dropped off their young children unattended, which led to some issues. Here's the website: arkansasheritage.com/historic-arkansas-museum I'm not sure when they'll post the class to the schedule, but it'll be added as a Living Craft workshop soon.

What I'm working on today
I'm wrapping up the editing for the module on washing the pigments. Just finished recording the last part and now starting the editing. Washed pigments take a good deal of time (settling and consolidating the sediment, then it has to dry out) before you get to a pigment ready to make paint with, but the rewards of a smoother pigment are worth it when you have enough crushed rock to work with.
