& I meeting in person today at the Chicago Nail Connect!! 🥰🥰 She’s a super cool gal, and a fun time was had 💜

My personal fav moments (outside of getting to hang with Iris 💕), were meeting Mariko Tanabe and getting to scope out (and possibly buy too much 😅) of the launch of her line Hanah (hana is flower in Japanese 🥰) and hearing Eunice Park from Apres speak!

Eunice mentioned 3 things to help grow your career (which, I nerdily wrote down 🤓) which are:

Find your moat (aka what separates you/makes you distinct from everyone else)
Say yes first (which I interpreted as always keep a beginner mindset and try the new things—she compared it to those of us who are old enough to remember the switch from MySpace to Facebook 😂)
Never forget you’re the King/Queen of adaptation
