Ya girls been MIA for a hot minute, but I just spent agessss scrolling through posts and playing abit of catch up 🥰 November is abit quieter (hopefully) so I'm eager to make abit more of an appearance in the community again. A massive shout out to our wonderful Nicky and everything she has done and continues to do. Also to the incredible techs who made halloween tutorials. Whose keen for Beginner Bootcamp!

Just wanted to share a photo of @Iris Garcia & I meeting in person today at the Chicago Nail Connect!! 🥰🥰 She’s a super cool gal, and a fun time was had 💜 My personal fav moments (outside of getting to hang with Iris 💕), were meeting Mariko Tanabe and getting to scope out (and possibly buy too much 😅) of the launch of her line Hanah (hana is flower in Japanese 🥰) and hearing Eunice Park from Apres speak! Eunice mentioned 3 things to help grow your career (which, I nerdily wrote down 🤓) which are: 1. Find your moat (aka what separates you/makes you distinct from everyone else) 2. Say yes first (which I interpreted as always keep a beginner mindset and try the new things—she compared it to those of us who are old enough to remember the switch from MySpace to Facebook 😂) 3. Never forget you’re the King/Queen of adaptation

So sad that I can’t fly to Perth for my nail comp Oceania Nail Championships it was my first time entering this comp and going to Perth.. to end up in hospital with influzena A.. At least I sent some of my designs off!! Of course this had to happen on Halloween 🎃

These tools cannot be washed or disinfected! Traditional abrasive nail files and foam buffers are made from porous or layered materials that trap nail dust, skin cells and microorganisms within their surfaces and crevices. Washing removes some visible debris, but it does not prove that microorganisms have been removed or destroyed. Disinfection requires the disinfectant to reach contaminated surfaces at the correct concentration and for the required contact time. 🧼 You cannot reliably guarantee this throughout a porous, layered implement simply by washing it or spraying it with alcohol. Unless a tool has a manufacturer-validated reprocessing method and reuse is permitted by your local regulations, treat it as single-use and discard it after each client. If you cannot reliably clean and disinfect a tool, you cannot safely reuse it on another client! ❌
