A life that was full of trauma and addiction within my family, to being married to someone for 17 years, who endured severe trauma and developed Dissociative Identity disorder, left me with my own trauma and a very unique prospective, from both the inside and outside, of how it effects a person.
I know what it is like to need a support system, outside of therapy, and now want to be a personal and relatable source to others on their journey.
Trauma and DID are very complex. It is very important to get a professional diagnosis, professional trauma therapy and a proper support system.
