Is anyone else struggling with this? 🥺
Sometimes I feel like finding a spouse isn't even the hardest part... it's dealing with my parents.
I know they love me. I know they want what's best for me. But sometimes it feels like we're speaking completely different languages.
Every conversation ends in frustration.
They don't seem to understand where I'm coming from.
I don't know how to bring things up without it turning into an argument.
Then I feel guilty because I don't want to disrespect them, but I also don't want to stay stuck forever.
Has anyone else been through this?
How did you handle it?
How did you keep the relationship with your parents healthy while also trying to move forward in your spouse search?
